Quickie of Lester. Didn’t really like where it was going, so I decided to leave it here. :^P
I think it’s not all that bad Misty. Really like the color values and the story in his pose and demeanor.
I think you drew the character first before drawing the background, and it’s not coming together as a unified flow (at least to me). If you did draw the background before the character, my apologizes for my assumptions. If you were to rework the interaction between Lester and the background, I think it would be greater than it is right now. :)
Was there a certain point/theme you were tryin’ to achieve?
Hahah, you caught me! I did draw Les before the background. (Bad planning on my part.) I really should get in the habit of planning the interaction out with the background and character/s.
No, I wasn’t really going for anything in particular with this one. Just a simple isolation thing (as well as Lester’s general heaviness/sadness). It was going to be more spacious before I decided it’d be simpler to try something similar again later rather than keep playing with this one.
